Welcome to the Ente Naadu Meet. This unique venture will present NRKs with an exclusive platform to partner Government-backed tourism initiatives and also explore new business avenues in tourism projects proposed by resident entrepreneurs. Opening up a never-before opportunity to forge new business relationships and benefit from the fast growing tourism industry. Ente Naadu will enable Keralites across the world to contribute significantly to the State's economy as well as play a key role in scripting Kerala's success story.

The uniqueness of this year's Youth festival is that all the WMC European provinces will be participating in this event in a competitive manner based on different Indian traditional arts. Elocution, Fancy Dress, Kuchipudi, Bharathanatyam, Mohiniyattam, Freestyle (Hip...Hop, break dance) is some among them. All the WMC Europe provinces (Germany, Austria, UK….etc) will be participating in this colorful mega event. The competitions will be conducted in a three tier structure: Sub-Junior, Junior and Seniors.
Our beloved opposition leader Shri Oommen Chandy M.L.A agreed to preside the colorful closing ceremony. Famous playback singer and actor Mr.Vineeth Srenivasan will inaugurate the festival. Other versatile personalities from India, Switzerland and Europe will also be in our midst.

The goal of the festival is to create an opportunity for malayalee youths in Europe to share their knowledge and enjoyment of Indian traditional arts through performance. Young talents benefits from exposure to different approaches and are encouraged to challenge their skills before an audience. Hope this event will act as a catalyst for strengthening the bonding between the WMC Europe provinces through artistic collaborations.

Once again our Onam is at hand to rejuvenate our spirit of one ness .Once again Onam is here to inspire and to instruct the children of Kerala of the trmendous responsibility on our shoulders to better one another and try to eradicate the painful spell of deprivation and inadequacies experienced by the large majority of Keralites.Onam has been the mark of the Malayalee psyche for centuries perhaps from the time of Kulashekhara Perumals around AD 800 as per the pages of Kerala History record.Onam has been the prestigious indegenous festival of Kerala which symbolizes communal harmony and the celebration of past history as enunciated in the Mahabali legend.It is also the celebration of the harvest festival well woven into the memory of the golden age of prosperity.Onam was celebrated in its truest sense when Keralites were not divided into narrow fragments of resident Keralites and Non-resident Keralites.Malayees in Kerala enjoyed the mirth of a celebration of oneness.I wish we again got back to the original spirit where we were one in every sense of the word and jubilated in an enviable mood of togetherness .Indeed as the Chairman of the WMC I feel it is my moral obligation to rededicate my tenure to the unification of the Malayalees who remain still divided in spirit and ideology and hesitate to make their Keralite entity a transparent one where a Malayalee feels confident to approach another Malayalee without any complex or fear.Dear fellow brothers and sisters , you are urged to devote your time ,talent, energy and resources to free Kerala from the current bondages of pettiness and scrupulous bureaucracy and pave the way to make Kerala an alluring destination for Indians and foreigners to invest, to relax, to recoup and to redesign their life in pursuit of a blissful community living where love and sacrifice work the magic of gathering warring factions to gather under one umbrella of peace, equality, health,piety, integrity, literacy , social harmony and everbrimming spirit of nationalism. With pride I cherish the symbolic nick name of Kerala - the Land of Spices .Yes . variety of spices that have been put together in adequate measures makes Kerala a unique land known to the outside world for its scenic beauty, panoramic views, communal harmony and irresistible cutural saga.Let us keep ourselves in good stead to upkeep her image.Having taken up the girdle of Chairmanship, I feel I am obliged to all who stood by me and wished me well for the new portfolio.I am visualizing an array of meaningful projects which will help us turn ourselves into a practising group of people who work towards the common goal of societal welfare devoid of our so-called crablike tendencies.I need your prayers and unstinted support as we vow together on this golden occasion of PONNONAM to be true to one another and work with the majestic path " Service before Self"May the Ona sadhya and the festive mood of the Malayalees who dance to the rhythmic beat of the season , all dressed in their best Onakkodi signify once again the importance of wearing new clothes to indicate our beginning anew by removing all bad thoughts and feelings from our hearts and rising above our sectarian outlooks! Thus let us make the Onam of 2008 a festival of muticoloured, mutifaceted mutifragrant flowers woven together to add to the beauty of a team of value-oriented Malayalees scattered around the globe ! Let this Onam mark the beginning of the end of communalism and petty strifes !Putting on the armour of love and fraternity let us light the lamp of selfless service and keep it burning to the end !Let's join together to welcome the auspicious THIRUVONAM day warming up our hearts globally , thus making our Kerala Community the role model for communities around the world!
