Welcome WMC-PYPE

World Malayalee Council (WMC) was formed on July 3, 1995 as an organization to network Malayalees, create a global community able to communicate and cooperate each other and continue the connection through generations so that the Malayalee identity will live for ever around the world. WMC functions under a set of bylaws, which calls for a three tire structure, a global council, six regional councils in America, Africa, Europe, Middle East, India and Far east & Australia and provincial councils(local chapters) in various countries. Big countries like USA, Australia and saudi Arabia has more than one province. Some big provinces that covers large areas like Kerala province has formed units under them. WMC has initiated several programs and projects in Kerala to help the economically underprivilefged to find employment and make a better living condition. Some of the WMC provinces have initiated projects locally to help the poor.

        The mission of Project Young Professionals and Entrepreneurs (PYPE) is to network young Malayalees all over the world, who are engaged in various professions or businesses and to provide a commom forum for development. There are hundreds, if not thousands of young Malayalee professionals and entrepreneurs all over the world, who are proud of their Malayalee heritage and identity. These young Malayalees, once linked together, can play a major role in the global economy. Besides, through networking inviduals can develop more contacts globally with others in the same profession or other entrepreneurs, which will help to expand their horizon.

       Young Malayalee professionals and entrepreneurs are urged to join this network and meet for the first time during the WMC sixth global conference to be held on August 22, 23 and 24, 2008 in Singapore. Please go to the link for registration and submit the application.
