The Employability Enhancement program was conducted in the community hall built in the Tsunami hit area. The students were selected from Alappad panchayat where 146 people perished in the devastating Tsunami in December 2004. Ever since this calamity, WMC has made its presence felt in the coastal area either through the construction of the Community hall or by teaching the new generation ways and means to survive in this competitive world.

Mr. Gokulan Gopalan, President, WMC India Region, distributed the certificates. He showed his willingness to employ suitable candidates. Kerala Province Chairman George Kulangara, Vice-chairpersons Ms. Indira Rajan, Gopinath, President Showkath, Secretary K.S. Nathan, Joint-Secretary Anoj and State Executive Council members, attended the certificate distributing ceremony.
