Dear Friends:
I am extremely happy to inform youl that just now I received
communication from the Clerk of General Assembly of New Jersey
State that November 11th has been proclaimed as 'KERALA DAY'. This
is a great achievement and history making event for all Malayalees
all over the world and every Malayualee in New Jersey must feel
proud of it.
Assemblyman Upendra Chivukula helped our community to get this
proclamation by moving his Resolution in the General asssembly. We
all must be thankful to him and proud of this political leader of
our Indian community in NJ.
We are expecting the Governor of new Jersey to attend our event 'Kerala
Day 2006' on Nov 11th along with other elected leaders and top
executives of NJ and local cities. Hope with the help of our
friend Assemblyman Chivukula we would be able to present the
unique Kerala culture and its people before the Governor.
Now it is our duty to demonstrate our thanks and solidarity by
attending the great event on Nov 11th at Somerset, NJ with our
families and friends. The proclamation encourages every New
Jerseyan to attend the celebration. So, let us publicize it among
all our friends in the main stream communities and invite them to
attend it.
Dear friends, this is only one of the many things we can achieve
if we stand together and project our unity to the main stream.
With warm regards
Alex Vilanilam Koshy
