WMC an Organisation to Network Malayalees Across the Globe. .

Singapore shall witness the congregation of Malayalees from around the World and the event being WMC 6th Global Conference from 22nd to 24th August 2008. The organizing committee has been working towards making the event a grand success with Singapore being the Business hub of Asia.

WMC Dallas Province – Free Medical Camp & Blood Donation Camp

WMC Dallas Province is conducting a “Free Medical Camp and Blood donation camp” on October 13th at MGM Auditorium in Garland, TX. Many local churches and organizations such as Quest diagnostics, Image plus, Cartier Blood group, MGM Church are joining us in this noble effort. More than 12 doctors have signed up and are expecting a big crowd to avail this opportunity. An “Indian cultural programme” at the same venue in the evening is presented by artists from Ragam Arts, Houston, TX which include music, drama, mimicry and dance admission for which is free. WMC-Swiss province conducted a Swiss-Indian Integration event named ‘'Indian Cultural Evening''
	WMC-Swiss province conducted a Swiss-Indian Integration event named ‘'Indian Cultural Evening'' on the 20 th January in Zurich . This event was attended by more than 500 people out of which about 400 were Swiss nationals. The event started with a variety of cultural programmes performed mainly by the 2 nd generation Malayalees, followed by a delicious Indian Dinner. Golden Jubilee of Keralapiravi Celebration at Bahrain was a grand success
	A MEGA show organized in Bahrain by the WMC to celebrate the Golden Jubilee of Keralapiravi, Kerala State was formed on 1st November 1956, over 5,000 people attended Musical tribute by K.S. Chithra and Madhu Balakrishnan to birth of Kerala state organized by WMC Behrain Province, long-reigning South Indian melody queen Padmashree K S Chitra at the Indian School campus in Isa Town last night.Ms Chitra was the main attraction at the two-day Chitra Ragam event,along with Mr Kottayam Nazeer which is being organised by the World Malayalee Council (WMC) Bahrain Province, in association with Kairali Channel and Quadrant Company. The event was held to mark the Golden Jubilee of Keralappiravi, the birth of the state of Kerala.

Hridayaragam

Initiative of “Hridaya Ragam 2006 – Paediatric Heart Surgery” was taken by WMC with a noble vision of serving the people of the economically poor strata of the populous. The project was well supported and till date 58 surgeries has been completed with 100% results in Madras Medical Mission. Most of the parents / guardian of these children are casual labour, for whom winning daily bread for their family is a challenge. “Hridaya Ragam -2006” was a ray of light to all these parents and they were extremely delighted and thank full for this gesture of WMC.
